Push the buzzer, enter the door, meet in the hall, lean with the wall, kiss till it hurts.

Perhaps money is not important in the least.

Find the man who finds the money, invest the money, make a film, sell it, make more money, sign a contract, pay the investors, hire union actors, make another film, sell it, make more money, tour festivals, meet asshole directors, meet wonderful directors, steal the lady from New York, record a few records, tour, cameo a few projects, get married, produce a young filmmaker's project, make a third film, re-new contract, win a golden globe, buy land, build a farm, ride horses, grow vegetables, have child number one, write fourth film, go fishing, learn to fly a plane, finance a restaurant in NY, make fourth film, make more money, buy a flat in Paris and/or London, wear sunglasses, suit, and skinny tie.

Meet the parents this weekend. Sign the lease.

If you haven't, watch John Cassavetes' SHADOWS... please do.
